The weather was a bit dodgy this morning, so the trip to Ropner Park was shelved in favour of activities in The Hub, dancing, music tuition and the usual pool, table football, basketball and running wild on the gym mats. The young people are often happier with that than the more structured activities. After another healthy lunch, shepherd’s pie with carrots, peas and broccoli, courtesy of super-cook Becky, there was more of the same until two pm when parents started arriving to try and drag their offspring away from The Hub. Tomorrow is cinema day again when we go to The Arc and watch this week’s adventures on the big screen, including yesterday’s trip to Hopetown Railway Museum in Darlington. The premier is at one pm, everyone is welcome.
