The Dyspraxia Support Group Teesside has been running since 2016. Our Dyspraxia Support Group is run by one of our Trustees who also has dyspraxia.

The group arranges a variety of activities and sessions for parents & children and adults with dyspraxia or related conditions. We aim to achieve positive outcomes like build their confidence levels, learn new skills and make new friends and connections.

Our key activities include education support, co-ordination, social and fun. We are currently running education support and co-ordination for the children group. We do meet ups for the adults group.

What do we offer?

• Two support groups; parents/carers with children and adults with dyspraxia

• Free workshops based on specific issues affecting individuals with dyspraxia (life skills, educational classes including handwriting, spelling & grammar and job search support)

• Social activities like quizzes and group activities

• Talks from professionals obtaining advice and support (occupational therapist and job coaches)

• One to one sessions running every Friday

• Work place experience and confidence building for people who have dyspraxia

• We offer training and consultation to local organisations about dyspraxia
