That’s another one finished, our fourth Easter HAF is over and done with, eight days of noise, fun, laughter and food. This morning the younger ones had a trip to a local play area to let off some steam, while the older ones, who are too cool for playgrounds, stayed in The Hub to continue their ‘socialising’ (for want of a better word). Lunch was a finger buffet, prepared as usual by Becky (with assistance from Lisa) and enjoyed by everyone. Then it was a mass stroll to The Arc to see this week’s adventures on the big screen. Another great week and special thanks to our newest volunteers, Kayleigh, Lisa, Lil and Matthew who made it through their first HAF with minimal trauma and without recourse to professional counselling, which, hopefully, means they will return for the summer HAF.
