As part of this year’s HAF, our charity was tasked by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council with visiting other HAF providers in their borough to film their activities. We were provided with transport and a lovely driver, Nicola by the council, organised in conjunction with Catalyst Stockton. Which enabled children interested in the process of film-making to be part of the production. Most of the other HAf’s were very accommodating and were more than willing to let our young people try their activities, which included rock climbing, gymnastics, fishing, cookery and on one occasion, picking up horse poop and loading it into wheelbarrows – surprisingly popular given the competitive nature of our bunch.
